    Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is a widely used aerospace and industrial titanium alloy. Here are its key mechanical properties:

    Tensile Properties
    * Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS): 950 MPa (138,000 psi)
    * Yield Strength: 880 MPa (128,000 psi)
    * Modulus of Elasticity: 110 GPa (16,000,000 psi)

    Shear Properties
    * Shear Strength: 620 MPa (90,000 psi)
    * Shear Modulus: 44 GPa (6,400,000 psi)

    Fatigue Properties
    * Endurance Limit: ~550 MPa (79,000 psi) at 10^7 cycles
    * Fatigue Strength: Varies significantly with surface finish and stress concentration factors

    Creep Resistance
    * Excellent creep resistance up to 450°C (840°F)
    * Maintains mechanical properties at elevated temperatures better than most titanium alloys

    Hardness
    * Rockwell B: 32-38 HRB
    * Brinell: 340-380 HB
    * Vickers: 340-380 HV
